The IAS–USA offers this state-of-the-art activity on the evolving challenges of managing hepatitis C virus (HCV) as part of a nationwide continuing medical education (CME) effort for physicians.
The current goals for global control of HCV will be elucidated in this webinar with a discussion of both the promise of and challenges in global control. Progress towards the development of a preventative HCV vaccine will also be presented.

On completion of this webinar, learners will be able to:

- Identify the challenges in HCV global control
- List current strategies for development of a preventative HCV vaccine

This advanced webinar is designed for physicians who are actively involved in HIV and HCV care and research. It is also relevant for registered nurses, PharmDs, and other health professionals.
