Learning objectives include:

  • Describe the epidemiology of a broad range of cardiovascular diseases (including myocardial infarction, stroke, heart failure, and sudden cardiac death) in People Living with HIV (PLWH).
  • Understand unique mechanisms of risk for PLWH including inflammation and specific antiretroviral drugs and drug classes.
  • Describe key features of an integrative approach to cardiovascular disease prevention for PLWH.
