St. Louis PTC – STI Update Course
HIV Prevention in STI Clinical Settings- Thursday, May 12, 2022 / 8am until 12:00pm (CST)
Target Audience: Physicians, midlevel practitioners (PA, NP), nurses, and other health professionals who see patients with or at risk for sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Course Description: Faculty from the St. Louis STI/HIV Prevention Training Center will use case discussions to present important diagnosis and treatment issues for common STIs.
Course Objectives:
* Describe how express visits can optimize STI testing and treatment.
* Detail how PrEP can be initiated in STI clinics.
* Understand PEP and trauma informed care for survivors of sexual assault.
