Planned Parenthood of the St. Louis Region (PPLSR) will participate in a project called Transformative Conversations. Planned Parenthood is interested in discovering which personal struggles poor and working class people from all races in small town and rural Missouri might share with poor and working class people in Missouri’s Black urban communities. PPSLR needs volunteers to help canvass in North County
This project, which will conclude at the end of October, will attempt to create these critical human connections between small rural towns and more densely populated urban areas in multicultural solidarity.
Saturday, August 3 will be a day of training for potential volunteers who are interested in canvassing.
